Provide History & Interpretation for historic Coin Press No. 1
Greet visitors to the museum.
Let them know what to expect at the museum and direct them to areas they may be interested in. This is extra important because of COVID-19 restrictions so that visitors are aware of the safety protocols. All information about the Museum will be taught all you need is a friendly attitude and a desire to help people.
Assist customers, conduct sales, prepare and arrange merchandise, respond to mail orders, and assist with off-site sales at special events. Preferred volunteer traits include enthusiasm for history merchandise, a friendly and helpful attitude, ability to learn cash register operation, accuracy with money handling procedures, attention to detail, ability to keep reliable hours.
